    About the Team:


    Artist Services is aiming at building an all-in-one platform to better service music creators, labels and other music industry partners from distributing their music, promoting their music, building their audience across TikTok and other ByteDance platforms, analysing their career development to monetising their works via diverse business opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    • Use a datadriven approach to identify and onboard top musicians and music PGC accounts to TikTok.
    • Activate artists and music PGC accounts on TikTok through direct management, mass communication, newsletters, workshops, and other activation methods.
    • Manage TikTok's partnerships and relations with major and independent record labels and other music partners.
    • Monitor various A&R data sources to identify artists for music distribution via SoundOn.
    • Negotiate and facilitate SoundOn music distribution deals with artists.
    • Work with an inhouse music promotions team to promote music distributed by SoundOn.
    • Collaborate with with music product team to increase artist and user adoption of new music tools and features.

    Qualifications
     - 3-5 years of experience in the music industry or music technology industry with focus on artist relations and A&R.

    • Have a solid understanding of the music industry, label and artist landscape in Turkey.
    • Already have strong, established relationships with labels, artists and other music partners in Turkey.
    • 23 years experience managing a community of artists and music creators.
    • Firm grasp of terminology and best practices used in music distribution contracts.
    • Understanding of how ROI is calculated for music distribution, and the ability to create distribution deals with artists to drive ROI.
    • Ability to use data analysis tools to identify artist distribution opportunities.
    • Proficiency in English and Turkish communication is required.
    • Good work ethic, selfmotivated and resultdriven with crosscultural empathy.
