The Kennedys were physicians from the United States whose primary ‎goal was to honor God by providing loving healthcare to those in this region.

Position Summary:

The radiology receptionist is responsible for performing a variety of duties which will support patients and staff at Oasis Hospital.

Performs clerical tasks, as specified below, to ensure the efficiency of the flow of the non-medical work on the unit.

Acts as a public relation clerk by answering patients' and visitors' non-medical questions and directing visitors


Requirements:


_Language - Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory_
Education - High School
Experience - One year as a clerk or similar position preferred


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Answers and channels telephone calls and relays messages to the staff
  • Always available to consistently answer the unit's telephone and needs to have a relief person when on break
  • Receives new patients and directs visitors
  • Checks unit stock level (of disposables) and order from the stores as per need
  • Correctly assembles and maintain patient charts from admission to discharge and includes filing of documents
  • Accountable for management of the inpatient medical records and places documents in their proper place
  • Completes essential paperwork in a timely manner and with accuracy
  • Checks and ensures the accuracy of the Unit Census (Room Status Report) at the beginning of each shift
  • Receives laboratory and diagnostic faxed results and notify the Radiographer/Radiology Receptionist.
  • Communicates professionally with Patients, Visitors and all staff
  • Follows up on all assigned tasks and give timely feedback to the immediate supervisor
  • Other assigned responsibilities.
