Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to update inventory data and address discrepancies promptly.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions related to inventory, ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
- Process purchase orders, invoices, and receipts related to inventory in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in monthend and yearend closing procedures, including the preparation of financial reports.
- Maintain organized and uptodate documentation related to inventory transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, turnover, and other relevant metrics for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports as needed.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including procurement, warehouse, and finance, to streamline inventory processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Utilize accounting and inventory management software to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Administrator with a focus on inventory management.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and inventory management systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Analytical mindset with problemsolving abilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to inventory is a plus.
Salary:
AED2, AED4,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
