    Description

    Infrastructure BIM Modeler

    Minimumrequirements.

    7+ years of experience in creating Gravity& Pressurize network catalogues, Surface, alignment,profile, assemblies, road corridors, sample lines,surface,

    annotating and codestyle set, take-off quantities, wet utilities (gravity and pressurenetworks)

    including creating a wet utility plan,and profile, editing profile labelling and profile band, adding /editing

    pipes and fitting tocatalogue, creating custom structure and editing pipe size, andmodelling of dry utilities.

    cables, structures, light pole, PF and STetc..... crossing duct, data shortcuts, clash analysesmatrix.

    Responsibilities:

    • Creatingcustom structure using part builder. (GravityNetworks)
    • Adding pipes and fittings to thecontent catalogue (PressurizedNetworks).
    • Experience in BIM Software (Civil3D& Navisworks)
    • Knowledge of CAD/BIMstandards.
    • Knowledge of LODs 300, and500.
    • Must have skills in Drafting/Modellingskills in Civil 3D such as (Roads, Electrical, Telecom andstreetlight, Sewerage, Storm, Potable, Fire and irrigation etc.)utilities.
    • Good knowledge of AutodeskNavisworks, with experience in clash detection/Resolution andproducing clash reports.
    • Work closely with BIMLead and Design Leads to ensure the project's compliancewith the given policies and processes, and to ensure timelyimplementation and completion.
    • Works with BIMlead, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawingsconsisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies,isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or fromgeneral engineering and design information according to establishedstandards and procedures, and to ensure timely implementation andcompletion.
    • Using BIM software and tools tocoordinate design documentation.
    • Understand theBIM modelling process and able to manage all BIM-related activitiesfrom project start-up to projectcompletion.
    • Review each drawing forreadability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordancewith the company QA/QC process.
    • Good knowledgeof content creation and ability to create different types ofparametric and non-parametric families.
    • Goodknowledge of BIM, understanding LOD requirements and BIM processesand can prepare BEP, MIDP and EIR.
    • Preparetechnical drafting and modelling drawings for the infrastructure(Utilities) Department.
    • Collaboration andcoordination with other disciplines on design changes and modeldevelopment tasks.
    • Liaise with ProjectEngineers on information requirements, project progress, and anypotential delays.
    • Utilizing Civil3D andNavisworks to coordinate interference/clash detection andresolutions.
    • Creating engineering drawings fromthe models.
    • Contribute to the effectivefunctioning of the team by identifying with and contributing to theteam's objectives, communicating and sharingknowledge.
    • Perform other responsibilitiesassociated with this position as may beappropriate.
