    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Carry out structural engineering tasks in line with Worley's standards, customer requirements, and relevant regulations.
    • Initiate, oversee, and potentially supervise project needs in structural engineering.
    • Execute various structural engineering services, including:
      • participation in key meetings, generating progress reports, and following necessary verification procedures;
      • ensuring project scope clarity and adherence to change control processes;
      • offering guidance during procurement, construction, and commissioning stages by drafting requisitions, evaluating technical bids, and creating purchase orders.
    • Step in as the lead structural engineer for specific projects when necessary.
    • When managing a team:
      • define project requirements, encourage workshare, assign tasks, monitor progress;and
      • ensure services align with Worley's standards, customer needs, and regulatory guidelines, delivered within set timelines and budget.
    • Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and customer specifications.
    • Stay updated on the latest advancements and technological trends within structural engineering.
    • Support and mentor junior team members as needed.
    • Maintain clear communication with the structural engineering team, project stakeholders, and customers.
    • Identify issues, devise solutions, and seek help when necessary.
