Job Description - Finance Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure Company's compliance with the DFSA regulations including submission of Company's PIB returns through EPRS in a timely manner;
- Preparation of budgets and financial projections; anticipating issues, stress events and ensuring that the Company maintains adequate Capital and liquid Resources at all times;
- Oversee the Investments Fund accounts and NAV Reports prepared by the administrators and keep a direct interaction with them.
- Overseeing finance and accounting functions, ensuring that the accounts are maintained according to IFRS and applicable rules for the entire group
- Establish and monitor the implementation of the Company's financial policies, procedures, systems and controls;
- Monitor and review financial transactions; Ensure to submit timely VAT returns
- Monitoring the financial aspects in the internal audit function and liaise with the CO&MLRO as may be required, in relation to the Company's financial aspects; and
- Liaise with the external auditor to get their opinion on the financial statements and agreeduponprocedure report on PIB.
- Ensure compliance with CRS/FATCA and ESR submissions to the Ministry of Finance
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in DFSA as Finance Officer
Must have excellent knowledge of IFRS, Accounting Standards and Investment Fund Accounting processes
Excellent knowledge of DFSA and DIFC requirements
Well versed with CRS/FACTA/ESR and VAT Regulations
Experience in Fund accounting
