    Description

    PositionSummary:

    TheTechnical Brand Ambassador is responsible for answering incomingtechnical calls from Kress Dealers. Daily activitiesof a KressTechnical BrandAmbassador willbe dictated by the needs of the dealers in their respective areasof coverage. The TBA will call on their technical ability andapplication experience in the tool and OPE industry to developKress dealers and their technicians to provide industry-leadingtechnical support to our dealer network.

    Efforts ofthe TBA will be concentrated on direct technical support of dealersand dealer technician development. Working closely with dealerservice departments to diagnose, repair equipment, or resolveissues quickly. Managing all aspects of daily warranty submissionsincluding the processing of claims, andfielding inquiries related to warranty decisions andappeals. Otherareas of coverage are timely and accurate documentation of producttechnical concerns and reporting associated with warrantyadjudication.

    EssentialFunctions:

    • Resolvedealer issues received via phone and email to provide step-by-stepguidelines for the resolution of technical issues.
    • Workingclosely with dealer service departments to repair equipment orresolve issues quickly and supporting sales functions whenapplicable.
    • Attemptreplication of customer-reportedissues.
    • Verifycustomer-reported issues by replication using the toolwall.
    • Understandingwhen to escalate issues to level 3 support whennecessary.
    • Recordnotes of dealer interactions for futurereference.
    • Communicateand coordinate with internaldepartments.
    • Processdealer warranty claims in accordance with SOP and assignedKPIs.
    • Fieldinquiries from dealers regarding warranty pre-approvals andwarranty claims validity beforesubmission.
    • Completetechnical reports for submission to QC dept for investigation andresolution to productfailures.
    • Relieson independent decision-making and problem-solving to complete jobtasks.
    • Performother duties asassigned.


    Requirements

    EducationandExperience:

    • Prioruse of power tools and lawn and gardenequipment.
    • Backgroundin construction, mechanics, or lawn maintenancepreferred.
    • Workingknowledge of IoT devicespreferred.
    • Abilityto read electrical schematics and technicaldrawings.
    • Demonstrableknowledge of technical customer service and sales principles andpractices
    • Understandthe internet and wirelesstechnology.
    • Effectiveverbal and written communicationskills.
    • Excellentcustomer service/relationskills
    • Abilityto work in a team environmenteffectively.
    • Highschool diploma, general education degree, orequivalent.
    • Proficiencyin relevant computerapplications.
    • Abilityto type 45wpm.
    • Knowledgeof administrativeprocedures.
    • 6months or more customer serviceexperience.
    • 6months or more experience in a call center environmentpreferred.

    Education and Experience: Prior use of power tools and lawn andgarden equipment. Background in construction, mechanics, or lawnmaintenance preferred. Working knowledge of IoT devices preferred.Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.Demonstrable knowledge of technical customer service and salesprinciples and practices Understand the internet and wirelesstechnology. Effective verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service/relation skills Ability to work in ateam environment effectively.
