    As an Estimation Engineer specializing in water andwastewater pumping stations
    withinthe UAE youll be entrusted with the critical task of accuratelyassessing project costs andpreparing
    comprehensive bidproposals. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring thecompetitiveness and
    success of ourprojects.

    KeyResponsibilities:

    CostEstimation:
    Prepare precise costestimates for water and wastewater pumping station projectsmeticulously
    analyzing projectspecifications drawings and relevantinformation.
    Conduct thoroughassessments of project requirements including materials labor costsandsubcontractor
    bids.


    • Bid Preparation: Develop detailedbid proposals in response to tender invitations ensuring strictadherence to project
    requirementsand specifications.
    Coordinatewith various stakeholders to compile technical and commercialproposals interpretingtender
    documentscomprehensively.


    • TechnicalEvaluation: Evaluate technicalaspects of project requirements such as pump selection pipingsystems and control
    systemsensuring compliance with performance and safetystandards.
    Propose technicallysound solutions that meet project objectives and qualitystandards.

    Supplier andSubcontractor Coordination:
    Thecompany has been a pioneering force in the UnitedArab
    Collaborate with suppliersand subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials andservices
    required forprojects.
    Negotiate contracts andagreements to secure favorable terms andconditions.


    • ValueEngineering: Identifyopportunities for value engineering to optimize project costswithout compromising qualityor
    performance.
    Propose alternative solutions or methodologies to enhance projectefficiency andcosteffectiveness.

    RiskAssessment:
    Conduct comprehensiverisk assessments to identify potential project risks and developeffective
    mitigationstrategies.
    Assess the impact ofrisks on project cost and schedule incorporating risk allowancesinto cost estimates.


    • Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate records of cost estimates bid proposalscorrespondence andprojectrelated
    documentation.
    Prepare detailed reports and presentations for internal managementand client review.

    • Collaboration: Work closely withproject managers engineers designers and other team members toensure alignment
    of cost estimateswith project objectives andrequirements.
    Activelyparticipate in project meetings and discussions providing valuableinsightsand
    recommendations.


    • Continuous Improvement: Stayabreast of industry trends technologies and best practices relatedto water and wastewater
    pumpingstation projects.
    Identifyopportunities for process improvement and contribute to thedevelopment ofstandardized
    estimationprocedures.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevantfield.

    As an Estimation Engineer specializing in water and wastewaterpumping stations within the UAE, you'll be entrusted with thecritical task of accurately assessing project costs and preparingcomprehensive bid proposals.

    Your expertise will play a pivotalrole in ensuring the competitiveness and success of our projects.


    Key Responsibilities:
    1.


    Cost Estimation:
    Prepare precise costestimates for water and wastewater pumping station projects,meticulously analyzing project specifications, drawings, andrelevant information. Conduct thorough assessments of projectrequirements, including materials, labor costs, and subcontractorbids. 2.


    Bid Preparation:
    Develop detailed bid proposals inresponse to tender invitations, ensuring strict adherence toproject requirements and specifications. Coordinate with variousstakeholders to compile technical and commercial proposals,interpreting tender documents comprehensively. 3.


    TechnicalEvaluation:

    Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination:

    Negotiate contractsand agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions. 5.


    ValueEngineering:
    Identify opportunities for value engineering tooptimize project costs without compromising quality or performance.
    Propose alternative solutions or methodologies to enhance projectefficiency and cost-effectiveness. 6.


    Risk Assessment:
    Conductcomprehensive risk assessments to identify potential project risksand develop effective mitigation strategies. Assess the impact ofrisks on project cost and schedule, incorporating risk allowancesinto cost estimates. 7.


    Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintainaccurate records of cost estimates, bid proposals, correspondence,and project-related documentation. Prepare detailed reports andpresentations for internal management and client review. 8.


    Collaboration:

    Work closely with project managers, engineers,designers, and other team members to ensure alignment of costestimates with project objectives and requirements.

    Activelyparticipate in project meetings and discussions, providing valuableinsights and recommendations. 9.


    Continuous Improvement:
    Stayabreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practicesrelated to water and wastewater pumping station projects. Identifyopportunities for process improvement and contribute to thedevelopment of standardized estimation procedures.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
    Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in costing estimation,preferably in the water and wastewater sector. Proficiency in costestimation software and tools. Strong technical knowledge ofmechanical systems, pumps, piping, screening, stormwater andsewage, and control systems. Excellent analytical, numerical, andproblem-solving skills. Effective communication and negotiationabilities. Familiarity with UAE regulations and standards relatedto water and wastewater projects is desirable.
