Personal Finance Policy Manager


ROLE PURPOSE:
managing retail assets (PF) product credit policy and ensure process is being managed well.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Ensure that clear policy guidelines and framework are in place for retail assets products (mainly PF and TOD). Should encompass all risk related items such as product benchmarks, policy parameters, process, systems, business targets & associated ECL.
  • Ensure that lending parameters are constantly refined and fine-tuned in line with the changing macro-economic conditions and the portfolio loss rates and profitability.
  • Responsible for tracking the portfolio triggers, scalars and caps to ensure that portfolio is performing as predicted.
  • Analyze MIS to ensure quality of the portfolio with regards to risk and validate appropriateness of credit policies, as well as to monitor impact of changes in credit policies.
  • Ensure adherence and effective updates and tracking of policy changes and tests for product performance assessment. Maintain a log of all policy changes and tests.
  • Responsible for ensuring policy guidelines are reviewed and approved on annual basis. Ensure a detailed policy and procedure manual encompassing end to end processes is updated regularly. Ensure the Credit Program is up to date with all policy changes.

Experience:


  • Analyze MIS to ensure quality of the portfolio: 5 years (required)
  • Work with Operational Risk to assess credit processes: 5 years (preferred)
  • Conduct meetings with other operating Units in
Retail Risk: 5 years (preferred)
