Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement risk-based audit plans to assess the organization's operations, financial systems, and internal controls.
Conduct audits of various business processes, including but not limited to financial reporting, operations, compliance, and information technology.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, policies, and procedures to identify weaknesses, deficiencies, or areas of non-compliance.
Perform testing and analysis of data, transactions, and documentation to assess the reliability and integrity of financial information.
Identify and assess risks associated with the organization's activities and recommend controls to mitigate risks.
Review and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management practices, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to be taken by management.
Communicate audit results and recommendations to management, including presenting findings to executive leadership and audit committees.
Follow up on audit findings and recommendations to ensure timely implementation and resolution of identified issues.
Provide advisory and consulting services to management on internal control matters, process improvements, and risk management practices.
Stay abreast of regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and emerging trends in internal auditing.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field (required); professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), ACCA
Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is preferred.
Proven experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or risk management,
