    JobDescription

    • To assist the Director of Sales andMarketing in developing and implementing effective PR andadvertising strategy.
    • To liaise with appointedadvertising agency with design and layout coordination andproduction of stationary, collateral, ads, brochures andgraphics.
    • To maintain the hotel library andphotographic image filing.
    • To track andmaintain information about competitor's marketing andcommunication activities in the market (promotions, offer,articles, advertising, collaterals) and to develop and update afiling system for all information.
    • Act as theliaison between the hotel and the appointed PR agency to generateawareness and write ups of the hotel according to the marketingobjectives.
    • To assist the Director of Sales andMarketing to create property press kits, press releases andcreative communication of newsworthy items with the PRagency.
    • To continuously update press kits anddevelop and maintain active contacts with the press and keyoverseas media people
    • To build a database ofkey media contacts, opinion makers and local"VIP's".
    • Toassist the Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure adequatetargeted publicity and coverage of the Hotel'spositioning, promotional programs, corporate image building andother activities.
    • To ensure thehotel's web pages are up to date and advice on keepingsite dynamic for Internet related exposure andadvertising.
    • To ensure the correct policy andbrand standards are followed by the hotel in all marketingcollateral, advertising and eCommerce.
    • Toensure that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manual aswell as electronically is maintained at all times.

    Qualifications

    • Candidate must possess at leastBachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/ProfessionalDegree in Marketing, Mass Communications orequivalent
    • At least 3 years of workingexperience in the related field is required for theposition
    • Required Skill(s): Excellentcommunications skills both orally & in writing, meticulous,self-driven with high levels of initiative, multi-task, deliverquality work within tight deadline, self-starter with an analyticaland creative mind
    • Knowledge and ability with ITsystems including core MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
