Job brief:

We are looking for an organized, diligent, and responsible inventory/cost controller to join our growing team. In this position, you will manage inventory.

Your primary objective will be to maintain adequate levels of stock to meet daily distribution demands while minimizing excess supply, limits waste and practice precise budget control.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company procedures
  • Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Review documentation and monitor product discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
  • Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports monthly with management
  • Nurture positive relationships with suppliers and provide customer service as needed
  • In charge of passing the production entries, store location transfer and food staff.
- check the actual food ingredients (portioning) in the light of the approved item's recipe.

  • Will be in charge of Identify the store variance and investigate the reasons.
  • Receive the material from suppliers in good condition and matching with items required specifications.
  • Monitoring food wastage and be sure not exceeds the accepted percentage.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 to 4 years of related experience in restaurant industry cost control
  • Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
  • Superior organizational and communication skills
  • Applies cost effective methods to both the purchase and pricing of food, using accurate budget control.
  • Cost control / limits waste, due to planning ahead and ordering the correct stock levels required.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
