As an Accountant at Victory Medical Center, you will work with the organization's financial leadership to manage billing and invoices, generate monthly, quarterly, and end-of-year closing statements, and ensure fiscal stability.

Your responsibilities range from standard bookkeeping to providing strategic direction and stewardship. You also identify and make recommendations to address accounting issues as they arise.

As a healthcare accountant, you must demonstrate strong ethics in the fulfillment of your duties, and you leverage a combination of analytical and communication skills to help your company achieve its mission and goals.

Minimum Requirements:

Fluent in English.
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
2 years of prior experience in the field.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and order supplies, manage medical office, prepare office payroll.
Process all payroll deductions for employees with outstanding balances, including setting up new contracts and managing current deductions.
Post all EOB payments and adjustments.
File and forward secondary claims and process appeals.
Perform payment postings, deposit reconciliations, batch reviews, and adjustments.
Enter vendor invoices and cut checks.
Develop improved procedures to streamline accounting flow and processing of claims.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, healthcare administration, finance, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in healthcare accounting.
Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
Skilled at generating financial and statistical reports to satisfy internal and external requirements.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to translate a longterm vision into actionable steps.
