Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities
Reporting to the Data Team Manager, your responsibilities include but not limited to:

Functional

Develop PL/SQL store procedures, packages, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and data loading (ETL).
Work with advanced features of PL/SQL like collections, nest table, ref cursors, materialize views, and dynamic SQL.
Develop load processes and data warehouse integration ETL procedures.
Develop PL/SQL procedures to create database objects dynamically based on user inputs.
Create database tables, create various DB queries, and assist in data mapping/testing activities in support of project.
Detail and problemsolving oriented in ETL, jobs, and addressing production issues such as performance tuning and enhancement.
Knowledge on any BI reporting is advantage.
Extensively worked with thirdparty database tools like TOAD & PL/SQL Developer.

Skills and attributes for success

The yardsticks of your performance would include cost savings achieved, quantum of customer reported defects, adherence to policies, procedures & quality standards, number of daily tests executed, and customer NPS.

Qualifications:

To qualify, you must have

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

Ideally, you'll also need

Experience should include DB design (modelling and normalization), performance tuning, Data Partitioning, managing schemas, data security, report generation and DB clustering technologies, creating and configuring 24x7 highlyavailable databases.
Extensive UNIX/LINUX experience
Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment with latest versions, logical/physical standby, ETL, replication
Must be a selfstarter with a strong attention to detail.
Experience in an organization with a key reliance on 24/7 reliability on its database
