    Description

    Responsible for developing initialideas and acquiring key information about potential projectsdiscussing requirements in detail with clients (the brief) andsetting projectschedules.

    Dutiesand responsibilities:

    • Interiordesigner should plan and organize the design of commercial anddomestic interiors. Projects may take place in a range of settingsincluding:
      • Office spaces andVillas.
      • Retail locations such asshowrooms.
      • Residentialdevelopments.
      • Commercial showrooms and civicbuildings.
    • Developinginitial ideas and acquiring key information about potentialprojects discussing requirements in detail with clients (the brief)and setting project schedules.
    • Understandingclients needs developing design concepts in consultation with theclient and establishing final briefs.
    • Researching and gathering information and photographs relating tothe project.
    • Sourcing products e.g. fittingsfurniture lighting finishes decoration.
    • Preparing detailed working drawings designs plans models andschemes often using computeraided design. (CAD) 3D max Revit orRhino soft wares.
    • Working in a team with otherdesigners.
    • Keeping up to date with newdevelopments in the designindustry.

    Skills:

    • 45years experience in any Design consultancy orArchitecture/interiors or related field.
    • Bachelors degree or higher in a relevantdiscipline.
    • Candidate will be expected toprovide and review work samples which speak for your experience andimpact.
    • Ability to manage multiple projectsand deadlines.
    • Comfortable in internal andexternal client facing situations.
    • Familiaritywith CAD Revit and 3D Max ability to read architecturalconstruction documents and shopdrawings.
