    Weare looking for a passionate and talented Social Media Intern tojoin our team. As a Social Media Intern you will have theopportunity to showcase your filming and video editing expertise.Key focus would be to create engaging content for our social mediaplatforms including Instagram and TikTok.



    Requirements

    Responsibilities:

    • Captureand edit short and long form video content on the phone for all oursocial media channels.
    • Writecaptions and copy for social media posts that resonate with ourtargetaudience.
    • Editvideos using native mobile editing apps.
    • Stayuptodate with happenings in Dubai social media trends features andbest practices.
    • Assistwith other social media tasks and projects asneeded.

    Requirements:

    • Currentlyenrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree programme(e.g. Filming Communications Digital Mediaetc.).
    • Strongwritten and verbal communication skills with a keen eye fordetail.
    • Proficiencyin filming on the phone and video editing using mobile editingapps.
    • Attendevents during outofoffice hours.
    • Abilityto think outside the box when developing contentideas.
    • Passionfor social media and a solid understanding of popular platformsincluding Instagram TikTok and more.
    • Abilityto work independently and collaboratively in a fastpacedenvironment.
    • Excellenttime management and organisational skills with the ability toprioritise taskseffectively.
    • Basicknowledge of analytics tools and metrics to track the performanceof social media content is aplus.
    • Dynamicand proactive attitude.

    Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers,reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content fordigital and print platforms. Develop and execute an effectivecontent strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives andresonates with our target audience. Plan, assign, write, and editarticles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuringaccuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorialstandards. Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developmentsto ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, includingindustry experts and partners, to enhance content quality andcoverage. Ensure the timely publication of content across variousplatforms, including the brand's website, social media channels,and print publications. Monitor and analyse content performancemetrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering aculture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth.Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications,English, or a related field. A minimum of five years of editorialexperience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred.Required Skills: Exceptional English written and verbalcommunication skills. Strong editorial skills including editing,proofreading, and fact checking. Creative thinker with a keen eyefor design and visual aesthetics. Excellent organisational andproject management skills. Proficient in using editorial softwareand tools. Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms,content management systems, and SEO best practices. Paywallexperience. Project budget management skills. Desirable Attributes:Passionate about the GCC technology market. Ability to workeffectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Collaborative teamplayer with strong interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable about thelatest trends in the travel industry. Energetic, self-motivated,and results driven.
