Description

The purpose of the job is to create and update the resource schedule for Dubai Metro & Tram, ensuring that Resource Planning Procedure is strictly implemented along with the HR and QHSE working policies and UAE Labour Law.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Create and update resource schedule for the Dubai Metro & Tram ensuring optimum levels of normal and contingency services that best satisfy the different scenarios whilst meeting the target performance requirements for both Operations and Maintenance.

Ensure strict implementation of the Resource Planning Procedure. Ensure the services standards can be implemented by the production. Review and updating of effective and efficient operational roster which meets commercial, operational, and safety requirements.

Ensure correct resource levels are in place to deliver a world class service Prepare daily/alternate roster arrangements for special events, alternate service patterns and emergency and degraded operations as per operational and maintenance requirement.

Deal with staff roster issues and make necessary adjustments to provide efficient and effective duty arrangements.

Monitor and review the effectiveness of the roster arrangements, make necessary adjustments and escalate any issues that require further management review.

Recommend improvements to provide a productive and efficient service within the whole Dubai Metro & Tram. Review the resource efficiency of the assigned section ensuring compliance with the Fatigue Index. Update and maintain data in relevant sections to ensure staff resourcing, availability, and overtime are accurately recorded. Regularly coordinates with the assigned departments. Ensure integration of the Mandatory Trainings per sections for all shift worker in the resource scheduling.

Record and update assigned department staff leaves including but not limited to annual leaves, sick leave, time-off-in-lieu (TOIL) quota and claims in the Human Resource System.

Ensure correct overtime submitted, processed and paid to respective staff as per the assigned department whilst coordinating with the HR Department; Attend assigned department's meeting when required.

Perform other duties assigned by the Senior Resource Planner and Resource Planning and Systems Manager. Protect information assets and data including both electronic and paper based. Promote a good QHSE and Information Security culture among their peers, subcontractors and third parties.


EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 1 Year, Preferably 3 Years Experiance and awarness in reilway operations.
A minimum of 1 year, prefarbly 3 years experiance in data analysis and/or similar role. Must have basic understanding of UAE Labor Laws pertaining to working hours and leaves management.

Should have experience of roster management which includes understating of shift patterns, working hours, staff leaves including but not limited to annual leaves, and other type of absences.


EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION
Should hold degree, diploma of post-secondary education in a related discipline.
