    SAE Institute islooking for a passionate and qualified Game Design lecturerto join their creative academic Thepurpose of this role is to teach GameProduction, 3D Asset Creation and Animation and inspireyoung minds at our Rosebank campus in

    Responsibilities:

    Execute thenormal day-to-day demands of facilitation in accordance with thelearning outcomes as set for the SAE programme, with a focus onpractical application, theoretical frameworks, workflow and

    Mentor students,conduct consultations and facilitate learning

    Researchrelevant content in order to develop learning material and lesson

    Evaluation,moderation, invigilation and assessment of

    Keep accuraterecords of

    Adhere to SAEpolicies and

    Other relatedtasks as assigned by the



    Requirements

    Experience,Education andCompetency:

    MinimumNQF Level 8 qualification (BA Honours) in relevantfield

    Experience inthe field of Game Production, 3D Asset Creation, 3D Modeling andAnimation of a minimum of 2 years

    Experience inclassroom management and workshop facilitation skills in anacademic or training environment of a minimum of 2 years

    Demonstrateknowledge and experience in game production and relevant gameengine (ideally Unity), Unreal is a

    Demonstrateknowledge and experience in 3D asset creation and 3D animationpipeline (modelling, texturing, lighting, rigging, animation) andrelevant software (ideallyBlender)

    2DAsset Creation skills would be a

    Possesscommunication, interpersonal skills, administration skills, beorganised and possess good time management;

    Collaborativeand willing to work with fellow lecturers and the HOD to support
