**Description:

Job Purpose:
The Pump Operator both in Day and Night shift is a member of the RMG Operational Support team. Ensures the daily routine checking is done before starting the concrete pumping and is properly done. He will be required to perform his duties in liaison with the Site Supervisor at all times.
Principal Accountabilities:
Health and Safety (Safety Management Skills, Integrity and Values Competency)
Zero personal involvement in accidents.
Required to submit Near miss & VFL reports.
Communication of Health & Safety policies and issues to all subordinates.
Conduct Tool-Box talks as directed by the Site Supervisor or Operations Manager/Plant Supervisor
Perform regular inspections to ensure full compliance with Personal Protection Equipment, safe systems of work, etc.
Perform risk assessments as and when required.
Document all accidents / incidents in the approved company format.
Commit to and achieve policy rules on limits of working hours by employees.
Report and document all accidents / incidents / Near misses for himself/herself and his/her team in the approved company format.
Environmental Management (Environmental Management Skills)
Understands the importance and adheres to statutory regulations and decrees.
Understands the importance and actively involves himself in maintaining a clean and tidy work place.
Understands the importance and actively involves himself to ensure waste is recycled or kept to a minimum.
Actively performs daily tasks in the site in accordance with the daily environmental inspection routine.
Ensures proper maintenance of pump equipments.
Follows all safety rules is in sites and company rules.
Planning (Driving for Results Competencies)
Ensure that all tasks are completed as per plan.
If requirements arise he is willing for transfer to any other location or any site for work.
Repair and Maintenance (Material Management Skill)
Ability to report any problems related to performance / safety of personnel / safe working of the plant and on the site.
Interaction (Leading People, Driving for Results, Managing Improvements through Change Competencies)
Maintains a proactive approach towards interaction between inhouse Departments.
Constructively contribute to Site Supervisor planning.
Proactively initiate/lead/become involved in initiatives to improve operational performance.
Labour Camp (Human Resource Management Skill)
Report any issues pertaining to the Workers Accommodation to the Accommodation Caretaker, Site Supervisor and Plant Supervisor.
Internal Controls
Support Site/Pump Supervisor with the Internal Control topics suggest improvements and test (when required) the processes and controls within his/her own preview.
Competition law
Is aware of competition law and adapts his/her behaviour by knowing it.
General
As required, conduct other duties requested by the Site Supervisor to ensure the professional operations of RMG.

Internally working with Pump Helpers & Site Supervisor.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Mandatory:
A minimum of SSE qualification.
Spoken Arabic, Hindi and Urdu.
Preferred:
2 years experience in a concrete Pump operations for a ready mix plant within the GCC.
Knowledge of concrete field and concrete process.
Knowledge of safe working practices.
