    Description

    What you will bring to theteam:

    • 0-3years of relevant experience, preferably in a consultingenvironment with strong vegetation identificationskills
    • Diploma or Certificate in Ecology,Biology, Forestry, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture,Arboriculture or equivalenteducation
    • Credentials as an InternationalSociety of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist or ability toacquire ISA certification within 3 months ofemployment
    • ISA Tree Risk AssessmentQualification (TRAQ) and Canadian Inspector of Sediment and Erosionand Control (CISEC) certifications considered anasset
    • Experience completing surveys usingtraditional survey methods and real-time kinematic (RTK) globalpositioning system (GPS) units
    • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills with the ability toexercise good judgment
    • Meticulous, proficientwith electronic data collection and ability to provide accuratefield and data records
    • Ability to read andunderstand engineeringdrawings/plans
    • Self-motivated with exceptionalorganizational skills to balance multiple tasks and meet ambitiousdeadlines
    • Comfortable working for extendeddurations throughout all seasons, during inclement/adverse weatherconditions, and on or near
    • Possess a validdriver's license
