Overview of the Role:

The Al-Futtaim Group is a large conglomerate structured around four operational divisions: automotive, retail, real estate, and financial services. The Group operates in 29 countries through more than 200 companies and has a portfolio of world leading brands.

The Transformation Management Office (TMO) is responsible for overseeing transformation activities across the group and executing improvement opportunities in close cooperation with the businesses.

The PMO Manager (SAP experienced) drive the day-to-day activities of IT-related transformation programs and projects in close coordination with the TMO team.

The purpose of the role is to fulfil the following objectives:


  • Lead program management and coordinate activities for IT transformation programs
  • Ensure the quality of analysis, activities, and deliverables across IT transformation programs, including the development and validation of business cases and detailed transformation plans
  • Help syndicate analysis, results with all stakeholders and manage relations and expectations
  • Ensure correct implementation of transformation plan across various initiatives and streams
  • Track overall IT transformation program, project ROI, resolve emerging issues own all dashboard inputs
  • Prepare regular reporting and progress updates keep Strategy & Planning Senior Manager informed of quality of outcomes and emerging issues
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to proactively drive momentum of the transformation
  • Implement Transformation Management Office tools and train Transformation Leads across programs

What You Will Do

Overall

  • Drive complex IT transformation programs, i.e., SAP implementation, on daily basis across divisions throughout Transformation program
  • Maintain familiarity with all programs' content and progress
  • Develop transformation approach including timeline with milestones, dependencies, team organization and budget
  • Coordinate stakeholders' engagements, prepare agendas for meetings, and record key decisions and actions
  • Maintain transformation momentum by ensuring accurate and timely distribution of communications and reports to stakeholders
  • Understand standard management methods, help prioritize initiatives, and anticipate issues
  • Prepares ad hoc requests, analyses, and reports

Assessment & Planning

  • Align SAP implementation with corporate strategic goals
  • Support the definition of IT architecture
  • Identify opportunities for automation
  • Conduct cost/benefit analyses
  • Lead collection and organization of relevant data for initiative planning and analysis
  • Help define financial and nonfinancial impact of programs and initiatives

Validation & Implementation

  • Support detailed planning and validation of business cases
  • Track and support implementation progress, and identify / highlight issues that merit investigation
  • Support transformation leads in collecting information and documenting progress of initiatives
  • Ensure TMO tools and systems are followed and reported on a timely basis and projects/programs are progressing as planned
  • Track financial and nonfinancial impact of initiatives and overall projects
  • Prepares detailed analyses and presentation of outcomes

What equips you for the role:

  • 5+ years of professional consulting experience, typically management consultant in IT related fields across variety of businesses
