    Description
    • Provides administrative assistanceto the legal department by gathering, requesting and/or relayinginformation to internal and externalclients.
    • Performs administrative tasks such asupdating spreadsheets, preparing correspondence, completing formsand updating lists.
    • Assists legal staff insubmitting claims and performs clerical duties related to insurancecertificates forms and renewals, bond requests, the tracking ofdocuments, and assists in assembling and tracking subpoenaresponses.
    • Has knowledge of commonly used legalconcepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Relies oninstructions and pre-established guidelines to perform thefunctions of the job.
    • Draft and reviewcontracts including NDAs and tender documents, and supportsupervisor in preparing documents for other non-contentious andcontentious matters
    • Assisting with thepreparation of internal projectapprovals
    • Helping manage claims and disputes,inclusive of judicial and administrative litigation and drafting orsettling internal and external communications with law firms,clients and other stakeholders.
    • Working closelywith our commercial, project teams and other key internalstakeholders to identify and protect AECOM's broaderbusiness interests and strategicobjectives;

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor'sDegree in Law or Legal Studies
    • Minimum 1 yearof experience in a law firm or corporate legal team will bepreferred
    • Ideally graduated in 2022 or 2023 inorder to join AECOM's Early CareersProgram
