And you are the key to bringing it to life.We are in search of a proficient Demi Chef de Partie who specializes in Pastry and has a vast experience and knowledge in creating and preparing traditional Arabic sweets. The ideal candidate will be a part of our culinary team at Hyatt Place Dubai and will contribute to providing exceptional dining experiences by showcasing their expertise in crafting authentic and delicious Arabic desserts.Hyatt Place Dubai offers a dynamic and inclusive work environment where creativity, dedication, and passion for culinary excellence are highly valued. Arabic Sweets Preparation: Create, prepare, and present a wide range of traditional Arabic sweets and desserts with precision and authenticity.2. Menu Development: Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef to design and innovate on the pastry menu, incorporating traditional Arabic sweets while infusing creativity and uniqueness.3. Quality Control: Ensure consistency in the quality and presentation of all Arabic sweets, maintaining Hyatt's standards and adhering to food safety regulations.4. Ingredient Management: Oversee the procurement, storage, and utilization of ingredients specific to Arabic sweets, ensuring freshness and adherence to Hyatt's quality standards.5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the pastry team, providing guidance, support, and training to junior staff members regarding the preparation and presentation of Arabic sweets.6. Kitchen Operations: Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation within the pastry department, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.7. Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility in preparing other pastry items and desserts as required, showcasing versatility in culinary skills beyond Arabic sweets.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience (3 years) as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable pastry kitchen, with a specific focus and expertise in creating authentic Arabic sweets.
    • In-depth knowledge of traditional Arabic sweets, ingredients, techniques, and cultural nuances associated with their preparation.
    • Culinary certifications or relevant culinary education is preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and passion for delivering high-quality pastry items.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Knowledge of food safety standards and a commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with other team members.
