    Description

    The Laundry Valet plays a crucialrole in providing efficient and high-quality laundry services toour guests. This position requires excellent customer serviceskills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle guestrequests and inquiries promptly and professionally.

    • Greet guests in a friendly andprofessional manner, providing exceptional customerservice.
    • Receive and accurately record guestlaundry requests, ensuring all necessary details aredocumented.
    • Inspect garments for stains,damages, and special care instructions.
    • Sortand separate laundry items by color, fabric type, and carerequirements.
    • Load and unload laundry machines,following safety procedures and manufacturerguidelines.
    • Operate laundry machinery andequipment, ensuring proper settings for different fabrics andgarments.
    • Monitor the progress of laundrycycles, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal cleaning anddrying results.
    • Remove garments promptly frommachines, checking for cleanliness anddryness.
    • Properly fold, hang, and package cleanlaundry items for delivery or pick-up.
    • Deliverguest laundry orders to designated rooms or areas in a timely andaccurate manner.
    • Handle guest inquiries,concerns, and special requests related to laundry services promptlyand professionally.
    • Collaborate with thelaundry department team to ensure efficient workflow and timelycompletion of tasks.
    • Maintain cleanliness andorganization in the laundry area and storagerooms.
    • Adhere to hotel policies and procedures,including safety and security protocols.
    • Reportany equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the appropriatedepartment for prompt resolution.
    • Assist inother laundry department tasks, such as sorting and organizinglinens or other special projects asassigned.
    • Strong customer service andcommunication skills.
    • Excellent attention todetail and organizational abilities.
    • Ability tohandle guest requests and inquiries in a professional and friendlymanner.
    • Ability to work effectively underpressure and meet deadlines.
    • Physical staminaand the ability to stand, walk, and lift heavyloads.
    • Flexibility to work shifts, includingweekends and holidays.
    • Basic knowledge oflaundry machinery and equipmentoperation.
    • Knowledge of safety and sanitationregulations and practices.
