Description
A General manager is responsible for operational, marketing, and other business planning. They develop the budget for each department, approve expenses and establish the standards of service. The general manager also has responsibility for departmental meetings, supplier relations and overall maintenance of the establishment.

Responsibilities:_

  • Plans and directs the operations and departments
  • Establishes the financial and service standards of the organization
  • Prepares budgets
  • Monitors expenses
  • Schedules/supervises staff
  • Understand client's requirement and offer Tour packages accordingly
  • Create bookings / reservations for customers, Prepare itineraries, tour costing, hotel booking and customization of Domestic / International Tours
  • Providing excellent customer service experiences
  • Taking care of any customer escalation post booking and helping with appropriate resolution.
  • Achieve the assigned sales targets
  • Coordinating with operations team.
  • Responsible for generating revenue for the company.
  • Experience in Domestic, Inbound and International Tours
  • Take right decision, knowledge of what to sell to customer as per their requirement, having knowledge to think out of the box and have selling capability.
- establishing new business.

  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Training to the teammates and motivates to achieve their goals.
  • Should be able to achieve the targets
  • Generating new business Leisure sales/corporate sales
- good sound knowledge of costing and itinerary preparation relating to travel

  • Prepare customized itinerary for international and domestic packages
- knowledge of all travel software's

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:_

  • A college diploma or university degree in business management or a related field
  • Several years of experience is required; this experience may replace the requirement of some formal education
  • Leadership skills
  • Entrepreneurship skills
  • Communication skills
  • Financial planning and budgeting experience is an asset
  • Business management skills is a an asset
  • Time management skills

Salary:
From AED7,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- business development manager: 5 years (required)
