Design Manager Profile:

As a Design Manager in mustard&linen you will lead and review projects running concurrently from concept, schematic, design development through IFC stages touching several markets such as commercials, residential, hospitality, and workplaces.

You will be in charge of reviewing all 2D & BIM production of the team, external consultant and subconsultant.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture or Project Management
Interior design and project management experience (14+ years) in all phases of projects through project handover
A selfmotivated, energetic, wellorganized selfstarter
Outstanding Clientfacing, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong command of the English language and strong and precise reporting skills

in this role you will demonstrate:

Responsibility and accountability for design and technical detailing across all design stages through IF
Ability to run, manage & deliver from inception to completion
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, Revit & Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Design and construct ability assessment, technical and QAQC reviews
Prepare and review design reports and project specifications
Delivery of complex projects across residential/ hospitality/ workplace/ commercial uses
Thorough knowledge of materials and products
Through knowledge and understanding of specialist building systems such as façade, vertical transportation, fire & life safety.

You will be expected to perform the following tasks at a minimum, alongside regular activities that would be expected from you as a Senior Design Manager:

Identify multi-disciplinary scope gaps and prepare responsibility matrix
Preparing and finalizing Design Management Plan and Project Execution Plan
Prepare internal monthly progress reports
Arrange and lead coordination meetings
Manage resources based on project budget
Assist in preparing bids and technical proposals
Provided support in developing the technical bids based on the documentation, inputs, and feedback to ensure alignment with the requirements while adhering to quality standards.

Salary:
AED30,000.00 per month
