Job Summary:


The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer plays a crucial role in promoting and ensuring a safe and environmentally compliant workplace.

They are responsible for implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

The HSE Officer collaborates with various departments to enforce compliance with regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental practices.


Responsibilities:


  • Enforce safety policies tailored to the facilities management industry, conducting risk assessments, and investigating incidents within facility settings.
  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs customized for facilities management staff, fostering a proactive safety culture in the industry.
  • Maintain records specific to safety in facilities management, prepare regulatory reports, and analyze safety performance within operations.
  • Formulate and implement emergency response plans tailored to the unique challenges of the facilities management sector, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.
  • Collaborate closely with facilities management teams, communicate industryspecific safety initiatives, and serve as a point of contact for regulatory authorities in the facilities management sector.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Relevant certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HSE role, demonstrating a track record of success in implementing safety and environmental initiatives.
