Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


Preparation and Baking:

Prepare and bake a variety of Arabic pastries

Ensure all baked goods are made according to traditional recipes and presentation standards.


Menu Development:

Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine the Arabic bakery menu.

Introduce new recipes and innovative baking techniques to enhance the menu offerings.


Quality Control:

Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.

Monitor the baking process to ensure products meet the required specifications.

Conduct regular quality checks and adjust recipes as needed.


Inventory Management:

Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.

Ensure timely ordering and restocking of ingredients to maintain uninterrupted production.

Monitor ingredient usage to minimize waste.


Kitchen Hygiene and Safety:

Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bakery section.

Implement and enforce kitchen safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.


Training and Supervision:

Train and mentor junior bakers and kitchen staff.

Supervise the bakery team to ensure efficient and effective operation.


Customer Interaction:

Occasionally interact with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.

Address customer inquiries and special requests related to baked goods.


Qualifications:

Proven experience as a pastry Chef, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel.

Extensive knowledge of Arabic baking techniques and traditional recipes.

Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Creative and innovative approach to baking.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Fluency in Arabic; proficiency in English is a plus.


Experience:


Minimum of 5 years of experience as a pastry Chef, with at least 3 years specializing in Arabic baked goods.


Experience:

Arabic Pastry Chef: 3 years (preferred)
