    • Leveraging ambiguous businessproblems as opportunities to drive objective criteria usingdata.

    • Contributing heavily to the designand maintenance of the data models that allow us to measureperformance and comprehend performance drivers for your area offocus.
    • Working closely with product andbusiness teams to identify important questions that can be answeredeffectively with data.
    • Delivering well-formed,relevant, reliable, and actionable insights and recommendations tosupport data-driven decision making through deep analysis andautomated reports.
    • Designing, planning andanalyzing experiments (A/B and multivariatetests).
    • Supporting product and businessmanagers with KPI design and goalsetting.
    • Mentoring other data scientists intheir growth journeys.
    • Contributing toimproving our ways of work, our tooling, and our internal trainingprograms.

    What you need to besuccessful

    WhatDid WeOrder?

    TechnicalExperience

    • ExcellentSQL.
    • Competence with reproducible data analysisusing Python or R.
    • Familiarity with datamodeling and dimensional design.
    • Strong commandover the entire data analysis lifecycle including; problemformulation, data auditing, rigorous analysis, interpretation,recommendations, and presentation.
    • Familiaritywith different types of analysis including; descriptive,exploratory, inferential, causal, and predictiveanalysis.
    • Deep understanding of the variousexperiment design and analysis workflows and the correspondingstatistical techniques.
    • Familiarity withproduct data (impressions, events, ..) and product healthmeasurement (conversion, engagement, retention,..).
    • Familiarity with BigQuery and the GoogleCloud Platform is a plus.
    • Data engineering anddata pipeline development experience (e.g. via Airflow) is aplus.
    • Experience with classical ML frameworks(e.g. Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, ...) is a plus.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree inengineering, computer science, technology, or similar fields. Apostgraduate degree is a plus but notrequired.
    • 5+ years of overall experienceworking in data science and machinelearning.
    • Experience doing data science in anonline consumer product setting is a plus.
    • Agood problem solver with a 'figure it out'growth mindset.
    • An excellentcollaborator.

    • A strong sense of ownership andaccountability.
