    Description

    Yourresponsibilities:
    First and foremost,support the overall, daily management of operational duties. Thiswill mean deputizing for the Operations Manager, as and whenrequired: you'll step in on their behalf wherenecessary.
    You will be expected to prioritize andcontinually improve the safety at the delivery station. You will besupervising logistics assistants, coordinators and deliveryassociates to ensure that every shipment is delivered meeting andexceeding the set operational KPIs.
    You will bemonitoring the coordinator and associate performance and coachingthem when needed, partnering with supporting departments to improvelogistics processes and operations, communicating with our deliveryservice providers to set our expectations and raise the bar onquality on their deliverables.
    You will be expected tointerview candidates for associate roles.
    You will beresponsible for briefing and monitoring the workload of all driversand associates. Therefore, you'll maintain a keen eye fordetail, ensuring that all administrative tasks are accurately andfully completed. Moreover, you will measure and monitor overallworkflows and daily metrics. This will enable you to assist theOperations Manager with tracking, trending and reporting on siteperformance, on a regular basis.
    In addition to yourday-to-day responsibilities, you will also help with training andmentoring new Associates, ensuring that they are provided with theknowledge needed to successfully carry out their tasks. Further tothis, you'll follow-up on and resolve any process-relatedissues as and when required.
    You are expected to beflexible to work in different shifts and to do overtime whenneeded.
    Finally, together with the Operations Manager,you will sufficiently resource your function from a personalstandpoint. Resourcing, in this context, means multiple things:call-outs for training needs, absence and performance management,coaching and continuous monitoring of department productivity andmany more.
