Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team.

As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Perform monthend and yearend closing procedures, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and collections.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze financial data and trends, identifying discrepancies or issues and proposing solutions.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
  • Assist with audits and provide support to external auditors.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software like ERP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • 23 Years of UAE experience will be preferred.
