Allan Abraham Malayil

I, Allan Abraham is an English Teacher who would like to explore new ways of teaching and learning. I have completed my Masters in English Language and Literature. I also have a Bachelors in Education to my credit. Being an English teacher, its important to qualify the IELTS exam and I have qualified it with a band 7. I have also got the UAE Teacher License for English.

Talking about my experience as a teacher, I have been teaching at the college level in my initial years and after which I taught in a British curriculum school in the UAE for 2 years. I was a teacher in the Ministry of Education for the last 6 years and I was appointed as a Lead Teacher in a Sharjah School for 2 years. The 3 years I worked as a teacher in Al Ain. In my final year in the Ministry of Education I taught the American curriculum. I have an experience of NWEA Map test which was conducted in our school for the assessment of students.

As a lead Teacher, I had to observe teachers for their evaluation and CPDs. I was assigned in a committee to conduct trainings for teachers on different topics. I used different online techniques to motivate and teach students. I organised many programmes in my previous organisations which has made me a event manager. I have taught the A levels and As Levels for their IELTS Exams and EMSAT Exams.
