Enas Elbashir

Zoologist , Biomedical scientist, researcher, Biologist. As an aspiring scientist, I have always been greatly inspired by these great researchers of the past, and my passion for driving more scientific discoveries is what has led me to work on the research field.

Admiring the teaching system in the United Kingdom universities made me pursue my master degree in Biomedical sciences at Bradford University.

I have lab experience in mosquito rearing, cell culturing, RT-qPCR, RNA isolation, and cDNA synthesis. I participated in many statistic tests such as the Mann-Whitney test which I used in my MSc research, Chi-Square test, and T-Tests. Applied and diagnostic pathology was a new module for me and I learned the clinical pathology and mechanisms of disease, Histopathology and understanding the role was played to service in diagnosis, and developing critical overview of how diagnostic process contributes to planning of treatment pathways for patients.

I taught university students at Khartoum university Laboratories for one year in Sudan. For period of time I worked as Manager assistant in a training and Human Resources company.

I really love working in lab because I enjoy the mystery associated with any new experiment- working out details beforehand and testing them experimentally and troubleshooting problems. For me it feels a little bit like magic.
