About Mohamed Zakher:

In January 2023, I took a major step in my career, transitioning into my current role as Business Excellence and Data Analysis Manager.
This stage marked the evolution of my focus: from analyzing numbers to building systems of excellence that drive organizational performance.

My journey started in July 2021 at EGPI, Egypt, where I worked as a Business Analysis Manager.
There, I mastered Power Query, Excel interactive dashboards, and CRM performance analytics, integrating sales, marketing, and field-force KPIs into one performance view that leadership could act on.

Guided by Doğgan’s 8 Principles of Operational Excellence and global Business Excellence frameworks, I began building a Business Excellence Department, designed not only to enhance sales-force effectiveness and KPI tracking but to expand operational excellence across the entire company.
This initiative became the foundation for our internal vision and mission of excellence, ensuring that every process — from marketing to supply chain — is data-driven, compliant, and continuously improving.

Alongside this transformation, I completed my MBA in Healthcare Governance (2023), which strengthened my ability to align business performance with governance, compliance, and ethical growth.

Looking further back, to 2019, I served as Operations Manager at Arac Healthcare (KSA) after several successful years as a Senior Medical Representative with SPIMACO Group (KSA) and Apex Pharma (Egypt).
During that period, I developed full expertise in demand and supply planning, stock management, and distribution oversight across the Western Region of KSA. I worked closely with warehouses and hospitals, auditing deliveries, optimizing logistics, and ensuring product flow aligned with regulatory and contractual requirements.

This journey across sales, operations, and business excellence gave me a 360° view of how performance, governance, and data come together.
Today, I’m driven by a single purpose: to help organizations build excellence as a culture, where every decision is informed, compliant, and impactful.

BUSINESS EXCELLENCE MANAGER

  • Strategic Portfolio Planning & Customer Lifetime Value (CLV):
    • Partnered with the CEO in order to set strategic objectives after analysis of the financial & IQVIA data to assure that pipeline and portfolio decisions are focused on maximizing Customer Lifetime Value, customer retention and cross-sell opportunities across markets.
  • Data Governance & Analytics:
    • Led the CRM project from databases to go live.
    • Established comprehensive CRM and customer lifecycle data governance protocols, ensuring accurate management of sales, engagement, and field-force data.
    • Led data-audit initiatives to monitor and cleanse CRM and performance datasets, identifying inconsistencies and enforcing corrective actions that improved forecast accuracy (+40 %).
  • Portfolio & Lifecycle Performance:
    • Designed governance controls over sales operations (territory, sampling, KPIs, incentives) to ensure transparent and ethical execution aligned with customer success and retention objectives.
    • Delivered monthly / M.T.D. sales reports that improved forecast commitment by 40 %.
    • The new CRM system implementation led us to achieve a 70 % improvement in CRM KPIs and enabling customer lifecycle insights for up-sell and cross-sell campaigns.
    • Developed Power Pivot / Power BI dashboards visualizing SKU turnover, stock availability, and channel activity, doubling data-driven decision sessions.
    • Enhanced service-request ROI tracking, driving budget efficiency (+30 %) and higher customer retention.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance Implementation:
    • Implemented a structured governance framework for marketing operations, including HCP event validation and promotional-claim substantiation in compliance with HQ standards.
    • Developed and enforced SOPs across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR & SFE to ensure lean, standardized workflows aligned with EDA, MOH & HQ requirements—embedding continuous improvement and service operations excellence.
    • Acted as Business Development Committee member, achieving 60 % process improvement and creating an internal-audit checklist from scratch.
  • AI Innovation:
    • Designed and prototyped Z.Audit, a web-based AI solution for auditing, risk assessment, and performance dashboards, enhancing financial governance and customer lifecycle visibility.
