I am a passionate Healthcare Management Professional with Masters in Hospital Administration and over 10 years of experience with leading healthcare institutions in UAE (7+ years) and India. 

 

Throughout the course of my career, I have achieved expertise in healthcare operations, clinic management, quality management and various aspects to manage a healthcare institution and its services.

 

In my previous role, I was managing the operations of ABSAMC is one of the leading cosmetic surgery clinics in UAE with celebrity plastic surgeons from Beverly Hills (USA), Europe and Latin America. I was responsible for the management of the Surgical centre ranging from day-to-day operations, quality management, inventory and stock control, employee & patient relations, liaison with the Government authorities etc.

Operations
  • Managing the clinic and handle its daily operations.
  • Strategic planning for the improvement of organization.
  • Supervise and evaluate facility staff.
  • Planning the schedule and itineraries of the visiting surgeons, making necessary arrangements.
  • Plan, get quotes, negotiate and purchase biomedical equipment and consumables; ensure adequate supply is available with its optimum use. 
  • Prepare various statistical reports and report it to the Chairman.
  • Identify potential areas for clinics and specialties and conduct feasibility studies.
  • Liaison with DHA, DHCC, MOH, Municipality and other Government institutions. 
Quality
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance as per the guidelines of Health Authority. Ensures policies and procedures are monitored, followed and implemented.
  • Conduct various patient to take corrective measures and ensure quality.
  • Conduct gap analysis; streamline procedures & process re-engineering to ensure quality.
  • Assist Health Authority Officials during inspection.

Human Resources
  • Staffing
  • Conducting frequent meetings with employees to maintain good relation.
  • Responsible for the health authority licensing procedures of the employees.
  • Preparing the duty schedule
  • Processing visa through DHCC platform
Project Management
  • Set up an ICU at the centre as per the requirements of the health authority.
  • Set up, licensed a pharmacy, laboratory and added various specialties in the polyclinic.
  • Set up and licensed a multi-specialty clinic with GP and Dentist in Sharjah.
Office Administration
  • Maintaining various administrational, financial, regulatory files of the organization.
  • Creating and implementing new administration systems.
  • Use of a variety of office software such as spreadsheet, emails and databases.
  • Ensuring the office stationery supply is sufficient.
  • Attending various meetings, conferences and talks representing the organization. 
  • Making sure the office is adequately staffed at all times.

Patient Relations & Customer Service

  • Review & audit the income & expenses report from the finance department.
