Responsible for preparing cost proposal by reviewing tender documents and evaluating quantities, BOQ to submit the cost proposal.
Duties & Responsibilities:
 To check and review the project documents received from the client.
 Study the scope of works for the particular pr ojects and allocates the documents for costing like HVAC, Plumbing, LPG & Fire Fighting Systems.
 After reviewing the documents, deduce any clause in the tender documents that necessitate clarification will forward to the Client as RFI.
 Review documents (Dr awings & Specifications) and preparing compliance statements for the project specification.
 To take quantities for Mechanical & Electrical systems from the drawings.
 To float inquiries to the distributors or suppliers and follow up with them to get the bes t proposal. Also, check the proposal from the supplier with the project requirement whether it complies.
 To prepare the cost estimations reports and explaining to the management also, the scope of work.
 Perform other essential tasks under the instructions and guidelines of the senior cost estimate Engineer/Manager.
 To prepare the technical and commercial bids for the submission projects to the client.
 Making the cost proposal offer with deduced price made up of qualifications, exclusions, and assumptions. Perform the cost control tasks by studying and proposing the value engineering items by comparing the given specification.
