About Ezdhar Program

An acceleration program working under the umbrella of Ministry of Trade and Industry in cooperation with both GIZ and CFI (chambre of Food Industries). The program aims to host 200 companies in the F&B industry to support their growth on all business aspects through providing advisory and consultancy support from a diversified panel of industry experts advising on strategic direction, training, and matchmaking with market service providers 

 

 Role highlights

  • I hired, coached and trained and lead the Project Management Office team composing of 5 members, while setting out a program with projects and tasks and assigning it to them and was also in charge of their performance management.
  • Designed and implemented the program’s marketing and branding strategy to enhance Ezdhar’s reach and brand awareness through successful media coverage and social media activities to increase program reach out to receive target applicants around 50% faster.
  • Organized different events such as hosting program team, beneficiary SMEs and other VIP guests that resulted in many matchmaking activities and partnership success stories with high satisfaction survey results from attendants by the end of each cycle. 
  • Conducted more than 160 interviewing and screening activities for SME companies interested in participating in Ezdhar program active cycles based on a predesigned screening method along with building a recommendation list of strategic actions to the advisory consultant team who will manage the company later. 
  • Responsible team members built an interactive community through social media under my supervision, which allowed program graduate companies to connect and engage, the community took two phases; first is a trial phase using Facebook groups and phase two was building a prototype of an Ezdhar community mobile app that allows all program stakeholders to interact and act as a big database accessible for all.
  • Managed project stakeholders’ strategic relations including a team of 10-13 Subject Matter Experts, whom I recruited, onboarded some of them (joined in phase 2), and integrated them to the team. I regularly organized meetings with them along with the project team to guide them through next steps and required companies support so that they provide specialized consulting services in different knowledge areas to the program SMEs beneficiary companies.
  • Designed and implemented an institutionalized framework for the program’s sustainability to ensure smooth handover to a public governmental partner after the completion of the project including a structured knowledge transfer program (Training and Documents) for the next implementing entity.
  • Managed all budgeting and financial activities of the project as well as designing compensation packages for the subject matter experts’ team. I was able to implement and deliver all project goals and requirements with excellence along with achieving effective cost saving initiatives saving around 12.5% of project budget.

 

Additional Roles: Exclusive EBRD HR Management System Development Consultant for SMEs development projects

 

I acted as an exclusive consultant among Quick Wins Consulting team dedicated to HRMS design projects for SMEs funded by EBRD. I am a certified consultant by People1st Internationalto conduct company services with projects funded EBRD to build, develop and retain work forces for SMEs following People1st designed methodology.

 

*EBRD in Cooperation with People1st International (an Industry-led skills expert supporting businesses internationally to build, develop and retain skilled workforces) and CIPD (the Chartered Institute for Professional Development)  worked on the development of the standards for this programme called “Skills in Business”  tailored to train a selected number of consultants among Egypt to be ready to provide HRMS development support to SMEs Projects funded by EBRD and implemented by the different consulting services providers. The programme focuses on two pillars: 1. Recruitment and retention __2. Work based learning.

I acted as a member of the Quick Wins Business development team responsible for driving company sales by sourcing new clients, by seeking best new market opportunities and by convincing existing clients to purchase added offerings.

Role Highlights

  • Completed various quality assurance and maturity assessment engagements for governmental entities in KSA, based on an” In-house” designed and developed methodology focused on 5 pillars, Strategic planning, Performance management, Initiatives management, Change management and Beneficiary experience.
