POSITION: Laboratory Assistant
SUBJECTS TAUGHT:
 Analytical Chemistry & Organic Chemistry (First Stage)
 Laboratory Instruments (First Stage)
 Biochemistry (Second Stage)
 Clinical Biochemistry (Third Stage)

 Manage general cleanliness and organization of the chemistry laboratory, and set up
equipment for laboratory.
 Prepare solutions, run samples on instruments, assist students with experiments,
maintains an organize laboratory and provide help.
 Assist the laboratory instructor for Analytical chemistry, Biochemistry, clinical
biochemistry, and Organic chemistry labs with grading and supervision of chemistry
experiments.
 Explain Laboratory instruments and how to use them in laboratory:-spectrophotometer
balance, Autoclave, incubator, hot plate, Lab. Oven, types of centrifuge, and Distiller
 Explain how to use laboratory equipments, prepare chemical solutions for different
experiments in laboratory and explain the steps for each experiment. (practical work)
 Prepare tests for Biochemistry. (practical work)
 Prepare seminars' subjects and distribute it to students groups and attend the
discussion with the supervisor.
 Define clinical biochemistry for students.
 How to collect blood samples, separate plasma and serum by centrifuge
 How to use the Test Kit at hospital’s laboratory.
 Conduct Summer Training for students at Hospital Laboratory.
