Afghan owned Transportation company that provides ground movements for the National Afghan Trucking contract in support of the Coalition Forces in Afghanistan (turnover $17m annual)

• Liaise with USG Contract Officer and his Representatives on all matters to guarantee compliance with the USG and Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) requirements
• Responsible for all Quality Control related matters for both RBT and its Sub-Contractors to ensure mission capability and that USG standards and requirements are met
• Responsible for internal and external reports to both the company owner and the USG
• Overall management and training of Afghan Operation Teams controlling over 6500 Truck Missions per year
• Engages easily with clients within the 3PL environment, providing a competitive outsourcing logistics solution through constant monitoring of the rapid changes of the Afghan political and financial climate

• Ensured the program followed SOP and guidelines set out in the multi-million-dollar USG contract
• Negotiated several temperature controlled, containerized, flat-rack and LTL shipment contracts
• Ensure custom procedures are followed for smooth transitions through border crossings 
• Managed multiple carrier contract performance with daily interface and monthly scheduled meetings
• Continuously streamlined operational procedures to meet changeable pick-up and delivery requirements

Apr 2009 – Dec 2011    LOGISTICS OFFICER

American operated Logistics company which provides both air and ground cargo movements for 

USG, ISAF and NGO personnel

• Managed all aviation operational aspect to include filing flight plans, Prior Permission Required (PPR) submissions, scheduled maintenance and reports, billeting, billing, etc.
• Created policies for day to day operations and established SOPs
• Enhanced tracking of rotary assets by using a reliable and fiscally responsible In-transit Tracking Devices (ITVs) 
• Improved the company situational awareness by personally training both the static and mobile guards whilst acting as the Security Officer for the company’s office, residence compound and VIP personnel

2006 – 2009                  OPERATIONS / LOGISTICS MANAGER

Parent company of several ground and air transportation companies focused mainly in Afghanistan but with satellite offices in Germany, United Arab Emirates and Pakistan (turnover $21m annual)

• Led a business development program, utilizing military experience to give the Afghanistan owned business credibility with western partners
• Monitored personnel during the day-to-day operations across sites in United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and Afghanistan
• Showed multi-site management skills to co-ordinate an operation encompassing four (4) warehouses, 300 heavy transport trucks and two (2) cargo helicopters while minimizing security risks for personnel and equipment
• Worked closely with the warehouse operation teams to ensure customer expectations were met
• Sustained client relationships with government and civilian personnel and took responsibility for managing ground and air transportation to support the military forces in Afghanistan

• Project managed the tracking, monitoring and prioritization of cargo shipments and the distribution and redeployment of equipment throughout the Combined Joint Operation Area 
• Engaged with inter-agency partners and senior military personnel to ensure contractual efficiency and constantly strove to improve the operation
