  1. PROJECT: “Conversion of Qassim II & III Simple Cycle to Combined Cycle Power Plant”, Saudi Arabia.

 

Key Responsibilities: -

 

  • Prepare project management documents (Planning & Scheduling Procedure, Reporting Procedure, Invoicing Procedure, Change Control Procedure)
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager, Site Engineers, Job Estimators, Engineers of various

disciplines etc. to acquire proper data and specifications for the schedule.

  • Participating in internal kickoff meeting with the project team post award to develop understanding of the proposal agreed with client during bidding stage.
  • Analyze drawings, specifications & method statements of works for the preparation of activity networks / scheduling / resources planning and allocation.
  • Preparation of project Calendar & Progress Measurement System (PMS)
  • Develop major milestone activities & establish a well-defined Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), which includes all the scopes ofwork.
  • Coordinate schedule from multiple sub-contractors / vendors and incorporate the information gathered into the overall project master schedule.
  • Preparation activity list and Level -1,2 & 3 Schedule.
  • Meticulous and keen on Planning & Scheduling of Level -4 Detailed baseline Project Schedule using Primavera-P6.
  • Analysis the critical path schedule and make area of concern to avoid the delay risk.
  • Develop databases for engineering deliverables, procurement deliverables and construction activities for monitoring, analyzing & tracking progresses
  • Generate detailed work plan, critical activities/path, planned/progress S-Curves, Budget Histogram/planned distribution tables, Resource Histogram/planned distribution tables etc.
  • Preparation of one month & 3 month lookahead schedule. 
  • Preparation of Productivity Chart & Manpower/Equipment deployment schedule.
  • Assign duration, resources (Manpower, Materials and Equipment) and Budgeted Cost for each activity based on

their weight factor & quantity/volume of work; and identify long lead items required in the project.

  • Follow-up with Subcontractor/ site team to monitor project progress and make reports.
  • Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the daily and weekly and report. 
  • Updating the master Schedule., Identifying the critical areas and inform to the management for eliminate the delays in the project
  • Preparation of monthly reports with Areas of concern and corrective actions to meet Contract Schedule, Development of corrective action plans/schedules when required, 
  • Verifying production reports against the Budgeted vs. Actual cost for production man-hour, engineering man-hour and material cost; identifying the reasons for difference in % contribution from budgeted vs. the actual
  • Organize meetings for quick delivery of materials, manpower mobilization and equipment necessary for installation and commissioning activities
  • Discussion with clients, vendors, sub-contractors and employees; ensuring exceptional customer service and quality always.
  • Attend project progress status review meetings with client, vendors and sub-contractors.
  • Prepare progress invoices/bills to client & Review & verify the progress invoices/bills of sub-contractors and vendors.
  • Coordinate with clients and consultants for the quick turnaround of document package submitting.
  • Maintaining the Issue log to record the project issues and resolution to prepare the lesson learned for future project.
