    ITPMedia Group is looking for a dynamic tenacious Events Manager tolead the execution of an annual stable of industry and consumerevents across a variety of brands. An experienced eventsprofessional you will be well versed in managing demanding clientsand stakeholders while also keeping a tight rein on suppliers andbudget management. You will have a passion for big ideas andcreative executions along with a keen understanding that overallsuccess often lies in paying attention to the smalldetails.



    Requirements

    KEYRESPONSIBILITIES


    TheEvents Manager will primarily be responsible for but not limited tothefollowing:

    Leadingthe execution of events across business and consumer mediabrands.

    Powerthe continued innovation of our events portfolio an innate sense ofcreativity and a hunger for new executions is a must for thisrole.

    Workwith the division s editorial and commercial leads to plan bothbrand and clientledevents.

    Developan annual calendar and plans for the delivery of the group sportfolio of events and provide ongoingreporting.

    Ensurebudgets are agreed and set at the planning stage and ensure allevents are delivered withinbudget.

    Endtoendmanagement of events across a broad spectrum of scales fromindustryfacing gala dinners seating 1000 people to intimate popuplive music nights for a consumeraudience.

    Developwork breakdown structures cost tracking procurement and projectplans ensuring all stakeholders are clear on an event s objectivesand metrics forsuccess.

    Manageinternal and external clients as well as event partners andsponsors.

    Buildand manage a network of suppliers across verticals including AVbuild and fabrication furnishing fitout andentertainment.

    Ensureevents are delivered to a high standard and in accordance with thedepartment s brand guidelines goals andobjectives.

    Identifynew IPs and event formats that will work across our brands and workwith the Editorial Director and the Commercial Director to bringyour ideas to life in a way that works for our audience and ourbusinessobjectives.

    Haveyour finger on the pulse constantly identifying the next big thingacross the industry and using that knowledge to elevate and enhanceITP Media Group s eventoffering.



    TechnicalCompetencies

    • Bachelors Degree in event management or 8 years equivalent work experiencein a relatedfield

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Min.Bachelors University Degree preferably in event management orrelated field

    Musthave a minimum of eight years experience in events at least threein a senior event management role

    EXPERIENCE

    Previousexperience leading consumer or B2B events at largescale

    Previousexperience leading consumer or B2B events at smallscale

    Previousexperience managingsuppliers

    Previousexperience managingclients

    Previousexperience managing / running eventbudget

    Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and inspire a team of writers,reporters, and contributors to produce high-quality content fordigital and print platforms. Develop and execute an effectivecontent strategy that aligns with the brand's objectives andresonates with our target audience. Plan, assign, write, and editarticles, features, and daily online news stories, ensuringaccuracy, consistency, and adherence to the brand's editorialstandards. Stay updated on industry trends, news, and developmentsto ensure the brand's content remains timely and relevant.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, includingindustry experts and partners, to enhance content quality andcoverage. Ensure the timely publication of content across variousplatforms, including the brand's website, social media channels,and print publications. Monitor and analyse content performancemetrics to make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering aculture of creativity, innovation, and professional growth.Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications,English, or a related field. A minimum of five years of editorialexperience, prior experience in B2B publishing is preferred.Required Skills: Exceptional English written and verbalcommunication skills. Strong editorial skills including editing,proofreading, and fact checking. Creative thinker with a keen eyefor design and visual aesthetics. Excellent organisational andproject management skills. Proficient in using editorial softwareand tools. Strong knowledge of digital publishing platforms,content management systems, and SEO best practices. Paywallexperience. Project budget management skills. Desirable Attributes:Passionate about the GCC technology market. Ability to workeffectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
