    The role?

    To manage all functions associated with C&L project delivery, with a focus on project management from initial proposal preparation to completion and sign-off from clients. This role supports all C&L projects within the Middle East & Caspian Region.

    Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

  • Prepare technical support documents, procedures, work packs, and work instructions.
  • Liaise with OEMs for crane repairs, modifications, or any technical-related issues.
  • Provide daily technical support including troubleshooting during breakdowns.
  • Provide technical support to workshop teams during component overhauls.
  • Technical advice for all crane-related incidents during root cause analysis and investigations.
  • Provide a focal point for technical queries and review any proposed modifications or changes that may arise.
  • Root Cause Analysis of any crane or lifting equipment breakdowns.
  • Completion of purchase requisitions
  • Preparation of proposals and tenders.
    • Recognized Qualifications and Experience

    Essentials
  • University Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or an equivalent Qualification).
  • Minimum of 5 yrs+ in a previous Project Engineering role or Mechanical Engineer position.
  • Experience working in or planning projects to be undertaken in an offshore environment.
  • Structural design background/experience coupled with sound technical knowledge.
  • Must have a professional demeanor with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • You will be expected to apply appropriate communication skills and exercise attention to detail.
  • Regulatory understanding including, PUWER, LOLER.
  • Crane health care & management.
  • Crane maintenance & inspection.
  • Crane operations.
  • Crane personnel engineers & technicians.
    • Preferred
  • Experience with control systems (Electric / Hydraulic / Pneumatic) is an advantage.
  • Exposure to Oil & Gas, Offshore, and Manufacturing environments.
  • Strong CAD skills, preferably with AutoCAD.
  • Computer Literate in MS Office Packages.
  • Technical knowledge / awareness in the provision of mechanical solutions.
  • Knowledge of local market and client base.
  • OEM Experience.

  • Business Development Skills - Ability to implement Client Account Management
  • Project Management Skills - Understanding of Risk, Change, Variations and Planning.
