    Description

    About the candidate:
    Bachelor of Sciencedegree in Computer Science, Information Systems OR equivalent workexperience Experience in IT Infrastructure support and serveradministration in a mid-sized environment serversystems)


    Experience with data center M&E equipmentDemonstrated examples of a drive to dig into the details of asystem or process to solve customer problems Experience working ina "mission critical operations" environment Theposition involves on-call which means you should have a drivinglicense and be able to reach out to the Data Center site within 60mins approximately The position has a physical component requiringthe ability to lift up to 25Kg and may require working in crampedspaces or elevated locations Ability to speak confidently and tocommunicate clearly in a virtual environment Strong adherence toprocesses and be a Process Champion Good communication skills (oral& written) and ability to interact professionally with adiverse group of customers and staff Experience providingclient-facing, direct customer support and service.

    Ability to workproductively in remote cross-functional teams or resourcefully andindependently as an individual Highly service-oriented, reliable,responsible, self-motivated Good English command Required DataCenter experience:
    Basic knowledge of data center design, includingelectrical and cooling plant & operation thereof Basicknowledge of airflow management (hot aisle, cold aisle, containmentetc.)

    Rack, stack equipment including commissioning of new racksStrong structured cabling skills on fibre & copper (e.g.

    looming, term & test) Required systems & hardwareexpertise:
    Systems administration (Linux and/or Windows Servers)

    Hardware repair, diagnosis & break / fix Networkingfundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, basic troubleshooting) IT HardwareConcepts (RAID, SAN, x86 architecture, SCSI, FC, ethernet, iLO)Base Operating System Installs and configuration Core OS Services:
    SSH, Telnet, RDP, FTP, NFS, DNS, DHCP etc.
