    Description
    • To be an ambassador of the FrontOffice and the hotel, in and outside the workplace.
    • To provide a personal service to all theguests, fully aware and following the hotel standards andprocedures.
    • To ensure that all guests receive awarm welcome and that they enjoy their stay / visit being offeredthe finest personal service.
    • To personallygreet and escort the guests rather than pointing outdirections.
    • To ensure that the privacy of theguests and the confidentiality of the information isrespected.
    • To ensure uncompromising levels ofcleanliness and maintenance of the work place through ownresponsibility.
    • To properly use the supplies,equipment and to ask for requisitionsaccordingly.
    • To manage any guest complaint in aprofessional manner, by owning it, resolving it to theguest's satisfaction and recordingit.
    • To call the Duty Manager, AFOM or FOM foradvice in serious cases or if an approval isrequired.
    • To ensure a proper use of thetelephone etiquette as per standards.
    • To alwayskeep the working area clean and wellmaintained.
    • To use appropriate materials,equipment and supplies for the smooth run of the Front Officeoperations and to ask for requisitionsaccordingly.
    • To attend all guests approachingthe Front Desk in the procedure of check in / check out, inquiries,key handling and all related matters, respecting the hotelstandards and procedures.
    • To share dailyactivity highlights with the manager including internal andexternal guest opportunities.
    • To be aware ofand to report all guest comments orcomplaints.
    • To be aware of all VIPs visiting orstaying in the hotel.
    • To maintain an accurateGuest History.
    • To check the arrival lists andto block all the rooms according to guest requests and needs, asadvised by the Front Office Manager.
    • To dailyhandle the guest files and folios, ensuring that all theimmigration, financial and audit procedures are fullyrespected.
    • To do a proper cashier closer and toensure a complete handover between theshifts.
