    Job Description

    At Cobblestone Energy we are on amission to build the most advanced European electricity trading andanalytics platform with our technology being used by our teams ofcommercial traders to create significant value. Being a member ofour team you will work on exciting challenges that come withlargescale data processing automation and analytics. We work in anagile and highly collaborative environment and challenge the normsof traditional business leadership. We are looking for enthusiasticand resourceful engineers who are passionate about building highlyreliable and performance data processing solutions. Developing astrong domain knowledge of our industry over time is key to longterm success in this role.

    This is a rareopportunity to take a leading role in the growth of a major playerin the European Power Markets. We are looking for someone who wouldbe committed to the longterm success of the business. We operate inthe European Power markets but our commercial trading operationsare in Dubai UAE.

    Responsibilities

    • Be a key contributor to tech projects critical forcommercial operations
    • Write softwareapplications and programs for backend/frontend purposes
    • Analyse programs and apps to improve their features andfunctionalities in collaboration with the commercialteams
    • Test & debug programs and fixany reported bugs
    • Uphold and live our culturalvalues

    Requirements

    • BS/BE in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or relatedfield
    • Programming skills in Pythonlanguage
    • Familiarity & Knowledge infrontend technologies such as HTML5 CSS JQuery JS etc
    • Strong knowledge of REST APIs and webservices
    • Strong knowledge of Relational Databases (MySQLPostgreSQL SQL Server) and SQL language
    • Strongproblemsolving and analytical skills
    • Resilience and a determination to succeed
    • Passionate selfmotivated and fast learner

    DesirableExperience/Skills

    • Knowledge of at least one popular Python framework (likeDjango Flask)
    • Programming skills inJava
    • Knowledge of NoSQL databases
    • Knowledge of AWS
    • Knowledge of datavisualization tools mainly Tableau
