Invoy sSenior Research Scientist - Bioengineering roleoffers the unique opportunity to conduct research,interact with our members for clinical studies and at the same timeassist with development and mentoring in the bioengineeringprogram.

What YourResponsibilities will look like:

• Lead literature review and find gaps thatpresent opportunities for future clinical studies
• Present literature search and study data to differentaudience levels within and outside the scientificcommunity
• Conduct clinical studies, and writescientific papers (white papers, peer-reviewed) for breath analytes(method development and study design)
• Maintainlab instruments and lab records for clinicalparticipants
• Manage and develop a team ofbioengineers (B.S. or M.S. in Bioengineering) that directlycommunicate with Invoy users - this will involve hiring,onboarding, training, and daily operationaltasks
• Initiate and set goals for the programbased on the organization s strategicobjectives
• Plan operations from start tofinish, including identifying processes, deadlines andmilestones
• Communicate with Invoy users on adaily basis to apply insights from the research conducted atInvoy
• Develop assets that will be useful forcommunicating research on breath analytes for Invoy users and thescientific community
• Develop strategies withthe Head of the department to scale-upoperations

Who YouAre

• Ph.D. graduate -Bioengineering / Biomedical /Biological Engineering or in arelevant scientific field with at least 2-3 years of mentoringexperience while completing Ph.D.
• Hands-on,entrepreneurial style with a strong work ethic and the willingnessand ability to roll up the sleeves and do the work needed to besuccessful in a start-up environment
• Strongwill to guide clients and demonstrate perseverance in a high-growthenvironment
• High energy and self-confidence,while also being a good listener and continuouslearner
• Desire to collaborate and work withteams in cross-functional areas and conduct studies on-site atIrvine, CA
• Excellent analytical, verbal, andwritten communication skills
• Strongorganizational and time-management skills & attention todetail
• Enjoy creative problem solving,literature and market research, and data-driveninsights
