    Description

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science2+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineeringPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)3+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with engineering/scientific principles with particular emphasis on the aeronautical, mechanical, and electrical system disciplinesExperience with aircraft systems, components, and functions (e.g., Flight Controls, Hydraulics, Avionics, Fuels, etc.)

    or Systems IntegrationExperience with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR)

    Part Experience with Recommended Practices ARP4754 (ARP) 4761Experience with Continued Operation Safety Process (COSP) and reporting criteriaExperience gathering, manipulating, and analyzing large amounts of dataExperience in assessing and documenting analysis to show complianceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTypical Education/Experience:

    Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master).

    In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Experienced (Level 3):

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).

    In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
