Description

• Develop trustworthy relationshipwith the Business Units to drive financial management andprocesses
• Supportoperations in preparing P&L projection, analysis offinancial viability of new investments and budgetfollow-up
• Organizeinternal and external reporting; make constructive proposals andact as an internal consultancy to Managing Director, Businessunits' Managers and Group Finance Manager to monitor thebusiness
• Evaluate businessproposals with complete analysis of economic impact onbusiness
• Analyze financialinformation to produce forecasts of business, industry and economicconditions for use in makingdecisions
• Assist indeveloping Financial Strategic Planning such as the 3-YPlan
• Prepare varianceanalysis and recommendations on monthly financial figures frombusiness units compared to budget and last year and issue reportsas required by themanagement
• Follow up andcontrol the capital expenditure budgets allocated to the businessunit
• Monitor the coststructure of the companies' business units and preparebusiness profitabilityanalysis
• Arrange, observeand control the P&L, balance sheet and recommendaction
• Provide InternalControl and ensure compliance with all Group Policies andProcedures
• Prepare andmonitor the performance of internal rate of return (IRR) studiesfor proposed outlets and newproducts
• Revise thebudgets and close follow up on: collections, payables, stock, salesand net margin. challenge assumption and proposerevisions
• Drive month endclosing by analyzing trial balances, researching general ledgeractivity and variances to budget and prioryear
• Develop and improveprocesses related to expenditure, appropriate financial methods tobetter evaluate and measureperformance
• Provideanalytical support as required to various cross-functioninitiatives and ad hoc projects (e.g. preparing business plans,study of the cash flow andP&L)
• Instigate andparticipate in all process improvement initiatives related to theBusiness Unit
• Participatein relevant projects and community activities as and whenneeded
