    Description

    Client Introduction:

    In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with one of our esteemed clients. This client is a global leader in the Real Estate industry known for its commitment to quality and innovation. They have chosen Dautom as their trusted partner for their upcoming projects.

    Job Title: Cloud Engineer

    Responsibilities:

    • Design develop and deploy modular cloudbased systems.
    • Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
    • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
    • Identify analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
    • Constantly looks for better ways of solving technical problems and designs the solution not afraid of challenging the status quo.
    • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
    • Identifies bottlenecks in Cloud platform and infrastructure and Leads knowledge growth effort of platform configuration management and troubleshooting.
    • Leads FinOps practices and adoption across the organization.
    • Interact with different support teams and stake holders provide cloud support and make recommendations based on business needs.
    • Creates an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture to set clear goals delegate tasks and set deadlines.

    Qualifications experience & skills

    • 35 years of proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role and expert knowledge of multi cloud Azure AWS etc.
    • Experience of migrating and deploying cloudbased solutions.
    • Expert experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform Chef Puppet
    • Expert experience in containerized deployments using Docker and container orchestration like Kubernetes
    • Experienced with implementing highscale cloud architectures using modern cloudbased container platforms (PaaS/SaaS).
    • Working knowledge of deployment automation solutions (i.e. Puppet Chef Ansible).
    • Sound knowledge and experience on cloud infrastructure and cluster management tools like Kubernetes
    • Experience with containers such as Docker OpenShift and continuous integration and related tools such as Kubernetes Hudson Maven Ant Git Sonar etc.
    • Experience with working in Agile methodology with specific Solution Architect (or similar) experience preferred.
    • Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a wellarchitected framework.
    • Experienced in managing technical priorities and supporting mission critical workloads.
    • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of analysts developers and subjectmatter experts.
    • Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions.
    • Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the teams potential.
    • Ability for Senior Stakeholder Management
    • Bachelors or masters degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline
    • Azure DevOps Engineer Expert Azure Solutions Architect Associate certifications preferred
