    Description

    Location: JORDAN DUBAI orBAHRAIN

    Operator (Drybulk)

    • Execution of charteringcontracts which include voyage/TCcontracts.
    • Ensuring that the voyages areperformed in compliance with the relevant contracts with dueconsideration to the commercial strategy. To be responsible formaximizing profit for each voyage.
    • Responsiblefor following up on post fixture activities and daytodayexecution
    • Monitoring of vessel movements forexecuting of activities including bunker planning appointment& coordination with agents and obtaining necessarydocumentations.
    • Responsible for the preparationnegotiation and finalization of laytime calculations. To alwaysthink out of the box to maximize Dispatch and minimize thedemurrage.
    • Handling of voyage accounts for theships including hire payments freight payments SOA and settlementof final voyage account with shipowner.
    • Appointing agents negotiating proformaD/A and reviewing/settling the final D/Adocuments.
    • Coordinating with the Legal andInsurance team to minimize risk and exposure. Ensuring thatdisputes and claims are settled in a timely and efficientmanner.
    • Coordinating with account andcommercial department on payments BL collection tallying offinancial statement and following up of outstanding account withrelevant parties.
    • Liaise with various partieslike ship master ship brokers bunker trader port agents marinesurveyor and other service providers on daytoday operation mattersto ensure all voyages are runningsmoothly.
    • Ensure compliance to relevantmaritime laws industry standards and insurance matters whereappropriate.
    • Working as operations PIC toupdate vessels ocean and port schedules solution providing tominimize delays / optimize smooth voyageperformance.
    • Monitor vessel performance analyzedate and give regular feedback toManagement.
    • Review the stowage plans preparedby the master study vessels description and end up with conclusionsto maximize cargo intake.
    • Drawing andfinalizing charter parties.
    • To assist thechartering and operation manager asrequired.
    • Any other duties that might beassigned by themanagement

    Requirements

    • BachelorsDegree from a recognized university.
    • Min twoyears of experience in dry bulk shipping industry with exposure toCP Terms negotiation and Laytime (Dry Bulk) as well as Bills ofLading and other shippingdocumentation.
    • Selfmotivated and enthusiasticwith strong analytical and calculationskills.
    • Selfdriven with strong willingness tolearn result oriented with a positive outlook and imagination tobring new ideas and solutions to thetable.
    • Fast learner and able to work underpressure.
    • Has integrity when dealing withconfidential matters.
    • Ability to negotiate withour business partners.
    • An ability to developrelationships with dry bulk counter parties including ownerscharterers operators charterers andbrokers.
    • Team player with strong work ethicsand excellent communication & organizationalskills.
